Managing to grow even in complicated times
The international network of business advisory companies Grant Thornton International Ltd, of which Grant Thornton Baltic is a member, boasted 1.6% revenue growth last financial year. In doing so, Grant Thornton International saw growth across all major service areas – audit, advisory, tax services.
We have a new Head of Legal services
In January 2021, Catre Kasak who has over ten years of experience in the field of law, joined Grant Thornton Baltic as the new Head of Legal services. Catre’s responsibilities include advising clients as well as assembling and managing a client focused advisory team.
Good results in hard times
In spite of the coronavirus pandemic that started in the early spring, Grant Thornton Baltic managed to post solid economic results in the 2019-2020 financial year. The company’s consolidated turnover in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania was 10.8 million euros, growing by 16% year-over-year.
Grant Thornton Baltic has new partners in Estonia and Lithuania
In autumn 2020, Grant Thornton Baltic expanded its circle of partners, giving two long-term employees in Estonia and two in Lithuania the opportunity to have a say at the highest level of the organization.
Riin Veidenberg has been awarded the qualification of a certified internal auditor
Riin Veidenberg, Grant Thornton Baltic's risk management services advisor, successfully passed the International Institute of Internal Auditors' Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) exam and on October 27 was awarded the qualification of a certified internal auditor.
We signed the diversity charter
On June 10, 11 Estonian companies and organizations signed the Estonian Diversity Charter. The companies that confirmed their commitment to the values of diversity and inclusion are Wunder, Enics Estonia, SOL Baltics, MoveMyTalent, Creditstar Group, E-government Academy, Vanalinna Ehitus, Grant Thornton Baltic, Via 3L, Playtech and IPF Digital.

Maili Torma, the data protection specialist at Grant Thornton Baltic and the founder and board member of the Estonian Data Protection Association, was recently issued an international ISO 27001 lead auditor certificate in addition to the previously acquired CIPP/E and CIPM certificates.

2019 was the most successful year in recent times
Last year was a very successful one for Grant Thornton Baltic – total revenue in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania grew by 15.1%, reaching 9.3 million euros. The company was able to grow the volumes of all of its services, from accounting and auditing to business advisory and risk management services.
Growing Together in the Community 2019
