In August 2022, Grant Thornton Baltic concluded a financial and tax due diligence for an Estonian start-up company Qualitista (dba „Klaus“), which operates a customer support quality assurance SaaS solution to track and improve customer service for SMBs and enterprises.

Klaus recently closed a Series A seed round of 12 million euros from venture capital investors. The capital will be used to support the development and further expansion of Klaus’s software.

Our client, a leading growth-stage Venture Capital fund Acton Capital Partners, was one of the investors who invested in Klaus. Acton Capital has over two decades of investment experience backed with a deep understanding of tech-enabled business models. Their mission is to support tech-enabled pioneers that create value for the long run. In the investment process, Grant Thornton Baltic’s advisory team performed financial and tax due diligence on Klaus. The consulting project was led by partners Artur Suits and Kristjan Järve. Financial advisers Eve Lille, Erik Suits, Karin Küttis and Arnold Vahtra worked on financial matters and tax advisers Nadežda Mihhailitšenko and Jaana Sild worked on tax issues.

Benedikt Sudbrock, General Counsel of Acton Capital Partners stated that considering the fast pace and nature of the start-up world, they appreciate that Grant Thornton Baltic’s specialists were able to deliver the report within the short timeline established by the parties involved. “It has been a great pleasure to work with Grant Thornton Baltic’s advisory team!” confirmed Benedikt Sudbrock.2022 Acton logo 2.png
