New season brings fresh winds to our charity projects

At the start of a new business season, we once again turn our attention to charitable initiatives, where our people contribute both their time and resources.

Helping those in need and living by the principle “where you see a fault, step in and help” is as natural at Grant Thornton Baltic as precision is in our daily work. For example, we have collected food and clothing for families in need and donated blood.

This year, we continue our long-standing tradition of supporting the Hille Tänavsuu Cancer Treatment Foundation “Gift of Life” (Vähiravifond Kingitud Elu) and the MTÜ Peaasjad, which promotes mental health. Since 2022, we have also continuously provided assistance to Ukraine.

This autumn, we are reviving the tradition of donating money to charity on employees’ birthdays. Each employee will once again have the opportunity to choose among three charitable organizations to which Grant Thornton Baltic will donate on their behalf. In September, we will take part in World Cleanup Day and, together with colleagues, clean up the shoreline of the Kopli peninsula.

“One small good deed can make a greater difference than we might expect. By helping others, we also strengthen our own resilience and unity. We are happy to support, together, the organizations and initiatives that are close to our employees’ hearts,” emphasized Grant Thornton Baltic’s recruiter Kätlin Treima, noting that even the smallest act of kindness or donation can have a significant impact.
