Mart Nõmper re-elected to the Board of the Auditors' Association

The members of the Auditors' Association elected a new board on May 29, in which Mart Nõmper, partner and head of audit services at Grant Thornton Baltic, will continue to work.

Mart Nõmper was elected to the board of the Auditors' Association for the fourth time. "I am very grateful to my colleagues for their continued trust. I still have plenty of energy and ideas to contribute to the development of the Auditors' Association and the broader Estonian audit field," said Mart Nõmper, who has been a member of the board of the Auditors' Association for nine years.

In his next term, starting on June 16, 2025, Nõmper wishes to focus on the succession of auditors and the popularization of the profession, as well as the quality and reliability of auditors' work. He considers the cooperation of audit firms, educational institutions, ministries, and other public sector organizations to be important. "I am convinced that together we can create an environment where the professional competence, ethics, and innovation of auditors go hand in hand," added Mart Nõmper.

The board of the Auditors' Association consists of six members and is elected for three years. The board directs and manages the activities of the Auditors' Association in accordance with the strategy of the Auditors' Association. The board, which will start work on June 16, 2025, includes Indrek Alliksaar (KPMG), Robert Pirk (E-Audit), Kersti Ruut (Ruut & Partnerid Audiitorbüroo), Sven Siling (BDO), Erki Usin (EY), and Mart Nõmper (Grant Thornton Baltic). Märt-Martin Arengu will continue as the president of the Auditors' Association.

Grant Thornton Baltic has consistently contributed to the development of the Estonian audit field over three decades, actively participating in the work of both the Auditors' Association and its predecessor, the Audit Activities Council.
