Grant Thornton Baltic Conference 2025

Every autumn, Grant Thornton Baltic brings together colleagues from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to take time for reflection, sharing experiences and setting future goals. For more than twenty years, this annual conference has been a valued tradition that strengthens collaboration across the Baltics and supports both professional and personal growth.

This year’s theme, “Leading through change – Leaders and specialists shaping the future,” focused on supporting leaders and teams in a rapidly changing world. More than 200 participants gathered in Tallinn to discuss how to deliver modern, high-quality services and maintain client satisfaction, while also supporting employees’ development and responding to their evolving needs throughout every stage of their careers.

The presentations and discussions offered perspectives from banking, consulting and technology. Lenno Uusküla (Luminor) explored the different growth paths of the Baltic economies, Kaupo Lepasepp (Sorainen) spoke about the importance of people-centred leadership, and Keiu Kaitsa (Empler) guided participants through the practical side of artificial intelligence — showing how AI can be a useful everyday tool that helps us ask smarter questions, find faster solutions and make more informed decisions. Tiina Sakkos focused on change management, emphasising the crucial role leaders play in ensuring the successful implementation of change.

The client panel brought together four well-known companies – Alexela, Ragn-Sells, Mootor Grupp and Saku Metall – whose insights reflected Grant Thornton Baltic’s own values: the foundations of strong cooperation lie in listening, understanding the client’s business, personal approach and flexibility.

A lighter moment came with an energising movement session led by the national broadcast exercise presenters. Usually heard on the radio during the workday, this time participants met them live for the first time — and the room filled with laughter and energy. The day continued with a Baltic partners’ discussion on future plans, which also introduced Aleksandrs Vellers as a new Partner heading Valuation and Financial Advisory in Latvia.

The evening concluded with the “Shades of Purple” celebration, which perfectly captured the spirit of the day — energetic, united and forward-looking. Shared experiences and memories continue to strengthen pan-Baltic collaboration, helping us work together more smoothly and deliver consistently excellent service to our clients across the region.
