For all of these years, he has supported and advised his customers, helping them to spot development opportunities and drawing attention to potential risks. The success of his clients – Mootor Grupp, United Motors, MyFitness and many more – attest to the fact that the advice from Mati has been as good as gold.

If there weren’t a Mati, there would be no Grant Thornton Baltic. Back in 1992, Mati was one of the founders of our company that was then called Rimess OÜ.

In addition to his duties as sworn auditor and management board member at Grant Thornton Baltic, Mati has been a leader of the Board of Auditors for years and taken on the role of vice president and deputy president of that body. He is also a long-serving member of the Nõmme-Tallinn Rotary Club.

In 2015, he received an Order of the White Star 5th Class bestowed on him by President Toomas Hendrik Ilves. He is also a sought-after lecturer and regularly contributes articles on financial accounting, auditing and economics.
