We believe that recruitment is a two-way process. We want you to learn about us while we get to know you. That way, we can both be confident that you will have a successful and rewarding future career with Grant Thornton Baltic.
Our selection process
The process we use is adapted to the nature of the role you apply for. But as a general rule, most people will go through the following stages as a minimum:
- Applying
When you found our vacancy through offline add in newspaper or in your university information board or you found the job you are interested in on our webpage, please send your CV and motivation letter to personal@ee.gt.com.
In case you found our job ad via internet recruitment company (like CV-Online, CV Keskus) you can apply directly from said internet page.
Each vacancy always includes a job description and further details of the role.
Do spend time tailoring your CV to the role you’re applying for, because our recruiters will assess how well your skills and experience match the relevant job description.
- Competency interview and tests
In these interviews we’ll want to find out about you and your previous work experience.
We’ll aim to get to know you as an individual and, typically, understand your specific experience of areas such as taking initiative, applying business insight, being adaptable and able to critically analyse, leading, collaborating and developing colleagues, building business relationships, taking ownership and delivering results and growing our firm and clients.
This interview is also a real opportunity for you to find answers to any questions you might have.
So come prepared with things to ask – perhaps about the role itself, or about our ambition as a business. During our first meeting you’ll also have to make some tests that allow us to evaluate your level of competence.
- Final interview
The final stage of our selection process will involve a more in-depth interview around your technical skills and experience. You’ll meet the people you’re likely to be working with. Hopefully by this stage you’ll have a good feel for who we are and the role you are applying for.
